The Fuji-Mae Wellington Taekwon-Do Demonstration Team

Founded in 2003, the Wellington demo team consists of representative members from most of the Wellington clubs, that have shown the ability and attitude required to display Taekwon-Do to the public. Having a pool of a dozen enthusiastic but busy members ensures that there are sufficient people available to perform at most times.

We aim to perform dynamic entertaining demos that show a range of elements of Taekwon-Do, in an effort to raise the public profile of our martial art. Most demos happen over the summer ‘season’, however requests will be considered any time of the year.

Fuji-Mae has recently become the sponsor of the team, enabling us to do what we love to do without significant cost concerns. Jackets have now arrived which will give the team a further cohesive feel.
