In memoriam of Portia McPhail, daughter of Mrs Nadia McPhail and Master Paul McPhail.
Special Tribute Website for Portia
On the 15th of April, 2008, Portia died, with 5 of her friends and a
teacher, in a flash flood.
Many friends have enquired about sending flowers, or donating to a charity
selected by the McPhail family to support them following the loss of Portia.
If you seek to donate money to a charity selected by the McPhail family,
the McPhails selected the fund created by Portia's school.

Master McPhail and the McPhail family thank all members of the ITF family
who sent condolences and prayers.

"Thanks to all the Taekwon-Do members, friends and family here in New Zealand and around
the world for all your messages of support.
They make a real difference and ease the pain for us - knowing
that you are all also feeling some of our pain.
Many of you have shared very personal thoughts and your
own experiences - Nadia and I are so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community."
On Monday 21st, the funeral was held for 16 year old Portia.
The service was packed out - family, friends, school, netball, and many TKD members - current and quite a number of old faces.
