ITFNZ Instructors Agreement
GENERAL
The intention of this agreement is to clarify the role of Instructors
and ITFNZ, and their responsibilities to each other.
In addition, this agreement endeavours to facilitate the legal distribution
of Instructor contact details for reasonable purposes.
The Parties
This agreement is between International Taekwon-Do Foundation of New
Zealand Inc. (ITFNZ) and the Instructor.
ITFNZ RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- ITFNZ agrees to:
- Provide opportunities for the Instructor to continue to learn, to
develop and to grade to higher ranks.
- Provide an environment where instructors can share ideas, and resolve
problems.
- Provide information and training courses to instructors that help
them satisfy their legal obligations, and further their learning of
subjects related to Taekwon-Do and the operation of their schools.
- Operate using a valid legal structure, and satisfy its legal obligations.
INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Privacy Waiver
- The Instructor allows ITFNZ to distribute his or her contact details
to all instructors, and agrees to use the contact details of other
instructors for ITFNZ purposes only.
- The Instructor allows ITFNZ to publish on the ITFNZ website and/or
distribute his or her telephone numbers and email address to existing
students and prospective students for the purpose
of contacting the Instructor for reasonable ITFNZ purposes.
Other Responsibilities
- The Instructor agrees to re-register himself or herself, the school
and his or her students before a reasonable deadline each year. The
ITFNZ Secretary and/or Database Administrator will provide the deadline
before the end of the previous year.
The Instructor agrees to maintain a
current:
- First Aid Certificate
- Instructor’s Certificate
The Instructor agrees to observe the following rules:
- The teachings of General Choi Hong Hi as outlined in his Encyclopaedia
of Taekwon-Do (Condensed or 15 Volume set), including (but not restricted
to): the ideal instructor, the student oath, and the tenets of Taekwon-Do:
courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit
- The Constitution of ITFNZ
- The Standards & Discipline document of ITFNZ
- Other ITFNZ policies, published on the ITFNZ website, www.itfnz.org.nz
- The Constitution and By-laws of the International Taekwon-Do Federation,
insofar as they are agreed to by ITFNZ
